Re: Problem with Redux repaint kit
Found the problem. We will need to do a full on installer update for this one sadly.
Thanks for the catch.

Re: Problem with Redux repaint kit
Yay! What was it? Will the UV map change?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Problem with Redux repaint kit
Vic, Ron and others. Here is a new installer with a fixed exterior model that should resolve the issue you've been describing.
No changes to the UV Maps are required. It was a case on inconsistent "special properties" for two of the Materials.

So not a paint kit issue at all then? Well I'll be...

Yep. That's cracked it. It's the little things that make all the difference. So my missus tells me.

Thank you for the quick confirmation that the issue has been resolved. I would never have noticed the difference myself, but then my eyesight ain't what is used to be either. Darn cataracts make things fuzzy at times.

Re: Problem with Redux repaint kit
Well, if I wasn't a newbie at painting I probably wouldn't have been checking everything so closely. Thought it was something I screwed up.
Glad you guys got on it so quickly!
Thanx,
Vic

Re: Problem with Redux repaint kit
One more newbie question - this installer fixes the exterior model. However, sitting in the cockpit and looking out left side, the color of the wing between the tip tank and cowling still doesn't match the overall model paint. Is this something that will be corrected with a later installer or is there something I need to do?
Thanx,
Vic

Re: Problem with Redux repaint kit
It has been corrected this morning, and will appear in yet another installer later today after I invert the stupid "Chocks" logic that prevents them being hidden when in multiplayer.

Same issue looking out left window after .6 update. Full exterior is fantastic!

Re: Problem with Redux repaint kit
We're going to try and get it done but not this week... or likely not week either. We have other stuff to do that's more critical. Apologies.
We WILL get to it... I promise. (Before the end of May).

Re: Problem with Redux repaint kit
Not a problem for me guys. Now that you can see the issue(s) they can be fixed as you have time.
End of May "ish" works for me.
Thanx for jumping on it quickly,
Vic
