Re: NWS? [RESOLVED] (Nose Gear Steering)
After installing the Tacpack update I lost nosegearsteering and dragchute.
What I did:
The old ACM is still there. Is that an issue? I deleted all the assignments there.
Then I programmed the new ACM. Shift-N and shift-M still did'nt work.
Tried some other combinations. Shift-X works fine for the nosegearsteering . But the chute...
Finally, I tried a button on my Saitek system. Button 15 or so.. That did the job!
No further problems sofar.

Re: NWS? [RESOLVED] (Nose Gear Steering)
Let me ask you a dumb question... If you're mapping NWS to your control stick did you Uncheck the "Toggle" box? I had a problem with the NWS too and then I re-read the instructions again and realized I wasn't clearing the "Toggle" box as instructed before I set up my button selection. It worked as advertised then.

Re: NWS? [RESOLVED] (Nose Gear Steering)
I tested this side and it works fine. Keyboard, toggle on joystick, no toggle on joystick. However the keyboard will not likely work with a joystick command assigned without toggle. In that state, instead of sending a single event on button state change, it controls NWS state constantly depending on button state.

Re: NWS? [RESOLVED] (Nose Gear Steering)
Is there a way to find out which key-combination adresses buttons and switches if they are not in the FSX controls menu or in the FSUIPC payware version?
Example: Shift-N (nosewheel) and Shift-J (dragchute).
These functions I can program in my Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog because I know the key-combination.
For many other buttons/switches or little hands I don't.

Can't you assign them in MVAMS?

Sure, and that is what I did. But there are many buttons left..
Not a real issue, I just wondered.
