ucrtbase.DLL CTD when F-4S is loading

Hi All,

Trying out the P3D V4 updates to the Phantom line. The F-4E and F-4J load without a problem. When I select the F-4S I get a CTD with the offending module being URCTBASE.DLL. Running Active Sky/ASCA and several ORBX sceneries on a Win7x64 machine.

Hi,
just installed from the updates from the MAMS. P3D v4 CTD as soon as I try to load the J & S versions. I got a warning error message for the E version (perhaps concerning the TP, not yet installed), but the plane does wotk properly.
If necessary I open a new post for this issue.

If you run the AMS again does it ask if you want to update? The reason I ask is I released a new update just last night.

Your errors listed don't have Prepar3D in them so they aren't involved. Best way to check for error reports is to go to the event viewer immediately after the crash occurs. What was the warning message for the E version though?

1-Uninstalled the F-4J/S versions some minute ago
2-Reinstalled them
3-Loaded a F-4J, P3D CTD.
I didn't find any error in the Events, but if you tell me precisely the path (mine is Windows Registry>Applications, as you can see from my image). Didn't find anything more.

For the "E" version, well, I re-install the TacPac and I'll see what happens; but I'm sure the error was linked to the TacPack aoftware missing in v4. I clicked "ignore" and the installation ended fine.

just uninstalled (2 minutes ago) the J/S versions, reinstalled them and I got this update. Now I'll running P3D and I'll let you know what will happen.

P3D CTD as soon as I select one of the J versions. I looked immediately at the events, but I didn't find any single error; I scrolled all the parameters to no avail.
If you can tell me exactly where to find some clue; if not, well, I'll be content with the E versions (and with some J and S included inside).
Of course is frustrating, but at 71 I want to enjoy the sim, not to look for troubles. Possibily there's something wrong in my pc; I'll go back to the first version fixing the interior lights as suggested by you. All my other MilViz products work perfectly (F-100, T-38, F-86 and the mentioned F-4E); hope to be lucky with the future Corsair too

Hi Jonathan,
just a last feedback. I went back to the original, first updated version applying the trick in the texture folder. Unfortunately, I got the interior lights but exterior lights are not working at all.
Well, at this point I hope for some future update for the J/S versions. Presently I put them in my hangar.

I will be testing further here myself and putting out fixes through the AMS so please check back regularly to see when I put updates out. But make sure you check the Support forums, not this forum (which is the General forum).

looks like i have same problem as F-4j loads F-4e cockpit and F-4s crash after 2-3 sec

OK its definitely problem with last Mvams patch ! mode works but no lights and if I use patch will crash every time.
