F-4E TP Fatal Error
Hi all, I just got the TacPack addon for the F-4E and installed into FSX:SE. Now when I launch my sim with the F-4E selected it loads (i see the pit) and then gives the classic "A Fatal Error has Occurred" message and closes. I checked and nothing has been touched by my AV.
I'm running Windows 10 on an i5 and a GTX 970
I am running vA1.160409 (I haven't updated as I don't know how, could someone kindly explain that to me?) and vA1.160822 of the TacPack addon
I'm using vLSO, TacPack (obiously), and ActiveSky Next.
This is one of three logs I found (from the three times I attempted to start) all are identical.
Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.62615.0, time stamp: 0x559f9a9a
Faulting module name: MV_F-4E_Sys.dll, version: 1.4.0.8, time stamp: 0x57bb17f1
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0002ba48
Faulting process id: 0x2244
Faulting application start time: 0x01d1fd9a9fa4eddd
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\fsx.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\gauges\MV_F-4E_Sys.dll
Report Id: 9a3a47ca-698f-11e6-82e9-d050995c4c29
Faulting package full name:
Faulting package-relative application ID:
Thanks for any help you can give, I'd love to get this working!

Re: F-4E TP Fatal Error
Thanks for the replies! I'll start with the gauges and then update. In terms of the update I should uninstall the Phantom via the TacPack installer, install the new version, and run the TacPack addon installer again right?

Re: F-4E TP Fatal Error
Correct. Once you have updated, install the dll from the link I posted if you get the crash again.

Re: F-4E TP Fatal Error
I'm in the process of reinstalling, just a question though, should i now use the MVAMS instead of the Menu Manager?

Ok so updating didn't work, just to confirm, the TacPack addon is compatible with D3D10 right?

Re: F-4E TP Fatal Error
It didn't worked for me.
1. reinstal v.160306 - crash.
2. changing .dll - still crash.
After entering cockpit, just before crash, i see a message: Changed teams. (0 -> 1).
What else can i do?
