MV407 with G1000h?
Hi,
I love your MV407...great helicopter.
I'm waiting impatiently for MV407 addon including the G1000 glass cockpit.....representing the Bell 407 GX. Can you tell us the actual timeline we can expect it please?
The Bell 407 Gx has a tailrotor camera built in. Would be nice getting this feature as an external a view window in the sim...just a suggestion.
Best regards, Klaus

Re: MV407 with G1000h?
Though we are looking at the possibilities of the 407GX... and the modelling is done... we're not quite sure how to proceed in terms of what goes in and what doesn't.
We do not have a "realistic" G1000 so we would be using the default version and "enhancing" it somewhat...
no navigraph and no sids/stars... not that these things are actually valid in a VFR ONLY chopper...
Plus, at the moment, we have no SVS for it.
Still, we're looking at this... no timeline given.

Re: MV407 with G1000h?
Thank you very much for the informations!
I fully understand that this G1000 cannot represent the real thing...Especially regarding the SVS.
I guess, implementing SVS into a the sim would be something like a small 3D sim in FSX or P3D itself...though a full working svs would be an outstanding feature, I could live with a G1000 missing this feature. Even if it's possible programming it I fear it could cost some amount of fps....
I'd love flying a MV B407GX even with an enhanced "default" G1000....
Would be interesting to know what others think about it.

I don't know the business end of development but, Carenado.com has some very very good simulations of the G1000 in their Phenom, Caravan and Cessna 206. Their G1000's are modeled exactly like the real deal.

Re: MV407 with G1000h?
I'm sorry. I don't usually allow or make comments on other dev's products, but in this case I will... Carenado's G1000 is not, in any way, exactly like the real deal. Sorry but that's just not true.
Moving on.
Moving on.

Hi MilViz,
It's some time since last informations about a MV407GX.
So I want to ask if there are any news releasing the 407GX?
Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the informations, Colin.
I'm glad the 407GX is still on your list.
Though using the default G1000 is a bit of a problem .... As you said.
Seeing your work on a SVS here on the forums made me wishing we can get some more advanced....
May be you run into copyright problems doing something like a Garmin G1000h gauge?
