instrument lights

I have the 407 and the 530. I have instrument lights on the 530F but none on the 407. I have the newest versions of each. Funny thing on the first night flight I had instrument lights on the 407. Then as I was flying the instrument lights went dark. Now zero instrument lights. Not sure what's up with the 407. Maybe someone has and Idea what I need to do.

Was the engine generator on?

Yes sir Gen on. I have rebooted my computer loaded FSX then the 407. I do start with the default aircraft.

During dusk and dawn the instruments lights are very dim. at least on P3D. As soon as it gets really dark, they come on.
