MV407 won't install

Hi guys,
Bought the MV 407 last night and initial install went fine. Chose the MV 407 at the startup screen in Prepar3d V3 and then a message along the lines of 'this product is only licensed for Prepar3d V2, FSX will now close came up.
I obviously selected Prepar3d V3 at the install screen and haven't had FSX installed at all.
I thought perhaps something had gone awry with the install, so uninstalled via the installer. Now when I try and install It fails every time like the attached screen shot.
Any ideas? I ran the installer as administrator and had anti-virus etc turned off. I also downloaded the lastest installer from here in case it was a problem with the old one but it didn't make any difference.
Thanks for your help,
Greg

Disable your AV before installing.

AV is disabled, and running as admin.
Strange that it installed fine first time, but gave a 'this product is licenced for Prepar3d V2, FSX will now close' message.
I then uninstalled thinking something may have gone wrong the first time (uninstalled via the installer) and ever since throws up the above error whenever I try to re-install.

Go into the root of your sim/simobjects/rotorcraft and delete the 407 directory and then reinstall

Hmmmm, strangely that folder doesn't exist....

Perhaps that's why It can't write the files?

In that case, there are only two possible issues: the first is that yoiur AV has either corrupted the download or is actively trying to prevent you from installing. Or B:, you do not have admin rights on the installer or your computer

To be honest I don’t think it’s either of those as nothing has changed since the first successful install, or at least not as far as I know.
I’ll have another look though just to make sure.
Thanks for your help so far by the way.

Sussed it!!
It was a permissions issue, I reset the permissions for the main Prepar3D folder and it installed lovely!!
Thanks very much for your help guys, I’m off to have a spin now!

Whenever I have seen that abort popup its because an element is open in another window , normally the MVAMS or something from a previous run of the .exe
Be sure there is nothing open and give it a try.
