Bell 407

Post by erniec49 » Sun Jun 18, 2017 5:46 am

I had followed all instructions that were sent to me.
But still not working right for all aircraft of the 407 Bell
the alarm sounds and engine goes out rpm fails oil pressure drops.

My system is running windows 10 Pro latest update with 16 GIG of Mem Video is Geforce 740- 4 GIG
all drivers have been updated for this system.

The Steam Edition FSX is the latest update to the program.

I am lost at this point in time, any help to fix this problem.

I still think problem is due to Steam Edition FSX
because of the fact I have problems with the other aircraft I have in this program.

=========================================================

I deleted this from FSX because it would not work the right way.
And I tried to reinstall executable Milviz_407vA1.160115

This is what came up during install for all files.
Now it will no longer install at all.

I disabled all antivirus software during download and install
And used admin on the executable file.

I am at a complete loss over this file.
Need help to make this work after spending $39.99
Otherwise it will be of no use to me whatsoever.

In the DxDiag Txt is all the info for my computer.

Hi. first off, you're not posting in the correct venue. Second... what's that big DEMO version watermarked on your image?

Next, it looks like you've not watched the video on how to start this.

It's SUPER easy (compared to the 530) so you should be able to get it going.

If, however, you're having issues with other addons on your system, what makes you think that the error lies with us?

Any devs want to add their thoughts on the file opening error? The OP is not a power-user, AV is off, running as admin, Beaver is only addon (all the rest came with SE). Demo watermark is his screencapture software. It may well be something to do with his Steam installation and not our product, but I'm sure he would appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Also he says Steam won't run unless he is online.

Cheers

I'm at a bit of a loss....Something is blocking the installer from executing properly. Not sure if any of the other installer gurus will have the solution (maybe N4GIX?)

It's an .fx file, so what happens if one clicks on "Ignore" to skip that one file? Usually file installation errors occur If the operating system has a file or folder open in another program, or fails to release/unlock that file or folder.

I'd suggest rebooting the computer then attempting an install of the 407 before doing anything else. That should clear up any file or folder locking.
