Night sun difference between 407 and 530

Post by bobsk8 » Tue Apr 04, 2017 10:34 pm

I have noticed that the brightness of the Nightsun with the 530 is much brighter than the 407. I have the switch on the 407 in the full on position, and yet the difference is profound. Is this just an issue with the 407, or is there something wrong with my install?

In the 530 both the Night Sun and landing lights are on, so the lighting is doubled1

How does one turn on the Night Sun? I have read the manual and I could not find it.

And assume it is just forward looking since the hat switch on the cyclic is used for trim.

BTW - Your 407 is a great aircraft…albeit one that takes a bit of time to learn to fly, let alone master…which is what makes it great. :D

The Night Sun is toggled by Shift L and controlled with the landing lights position control assignments for the keyboard .
