B407 Pontoon inflation
Need some help with the pontoons !! They show on the skids OK but I can't find how to inflate them.
There is the Float arm and Float inflate besels on the collective lever but there are no buttons in the besels !! Are they supposed to be there
or are the pontoons activated some other way?
I also have the MD530F and the pontoons work great from the joystick button.

Re: B407 Pontoon inflation SOLVED
Well sort of. Haven't been able to locate why the pontoon activation button won't show, and am surprised nobody including Milviz support has offered any advise.
Have however been able to map the pontoon activation to a joystick button so do not need to worry about the button.
Happy flying to all

Thanks for your photo. I have no button as per photo, and clicking the mouse curser on this area -- nothing happens.

Re: B407 Pontoon inflation
Seems like is missing from the model in FSX... I don't know who works in the 407 anymore... Been a couple years since last updated
I copied my pont model from P3D to FSX and is showing and working now.
Try using this one. drop to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Rotorcraft\MILVIZ_Bell407\Model.pont
RENAME AND SAVE YOUR CURRENT FILE

Re: B407 Pontoon inflation
I have the same issue with the pontoon inflation switch missing. I am running FSX with Acceleration, Windows 10. I tried to download the shared file, but the link is bad. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, when I load the "pod" it is visible on the left side from inside the helicopter, but it is not visible in the exterior model.
Regards,
Jody

Can you post a picture of your selections in MVAMS? Or, can you try with other liveries and see if its specific to the one you are trying?jody.pombrio wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 12:37 am
