Strange Pitch (bobbing) Behavior

Why does the flight director fall out of sync with altitude setting after you access the Menu Bar? When I check navigation map and return to the sim (P3Dv4.3), the 737 boobs a little up and down trying to find the initial altitude it was at prior to entering the control bar in P3Dv4.3. When I exit back into the sim the FD trys to re-establish the initial altitude that was already established before hand.

I really like the 737/200 by the way.
