Flight Director
HI,
Again really enjoying being back in the -200 in P3dV42
OK I can get the FD turned on and displayed (CTL-F)
I can get the autopilot to take up a heading, intercept a radial, hold an altitude etc...
I cannot get the FD to command any of these with or without the AP turned on,
the FD bars just remain stationary and do not move (well off and on !) .
Any help
Scott

Re: Flight Director
I'm sure you will want a reply from the staff…in the mean time, I invite your attention to the SP-77 Autopilot.pdf that is in the download manuals folder. The second paragraph is highlighted and states there is no connection between the FD and AP… "the FD…is just for reference".

Re: Flight Director
The SP77 was (still is) rather primitive. As noted in the manual, the FD is reference for the pilot who would use it while hand flying.

Re: Flight Director
Hi Bill,
Understand it is limited/primitive - mine does not move at all. It is either off (drops to bottom of AH and flags) or on - straight and level, any change to heading, altitude, pitch on the fd controls has no effect - just sits there.

Re: Flight Director
You know, now that you mention it…I think mine is doing the same thing.
