Does this install, when done to P3Dv4 require 4.2 or can it be done on a 4.1 install?

There appears to be a problem with the ambient sounds played thru MV3DSound.dll.

It's apparent when you switch on the battery. The switch sound is distinct but the ambient sounds of fans, etc play for only about a second then shut off. Same with all other continuous sounds such as the APU which is totally silent. Switch clicks and such work fine.

This is P3Dv4.

4.2 only if you want the wx to work.

I'm guessing Bill needs to take another look...

In my 4.1 install, CTD on selecting the 737 in the startup scenario window. Also, CTD when starting in sim with default Baron, then selecting 737.

Count my experience out of any troubleshooting for you guys. I need to get to 4.2 before doing any more with it.

Thanks for all your efforts, will offer better feedback after getting to current version.

Henry, does the 737 CTD when using the non-WX option? It should work without drama.

I only recall integrating RealLight. Not TrueGlass.

Wonderful to see this airplane in P3Dv4 back in the sky!

I also can confirm
- the graphical issues with the WX in the VC
- the issues with the sound.

In addition I'm not able to use the space on the pedestal [Vcockpit22]. Maybe an issue with texture $B737_FreeSpace...

Cheers,
Michael

Jon, I added TrueGlass to the project. It is working just fine here. I'll have to investigate further.

Custom sounds has been fixed.
The rogue TCAS poly has been fixed.

I also can confirm
- the graphical issues with the WX in the VC, part of the screen is obscured by a black section.

I do have another more pressing issue though, and I'm sure it must be my own fault somehow, but have no clue how to narrow it down.
No matter what I choose in MVAMS, cold & dark or ready to fly, when the scenario loads, the aircraft engines spool down and quit. Trying to start them again just leads to a lot of button-clicking sounds that loop for a while, until I set starter knob to OFF, at which the button-clicking stops.

Antivirus was off during download and install, UAC off, installed as Admin. I installed the 310Redux the same evening, and it works like a charm.

What I can say is that quite some time back I installed the previous non-v4.x version into my current P3Dv4.2 installation, and while some features did not work completely, the engines had noe issues and it flew well. I did unistall this before installing the new version, but I guess there's a chance that I borked something...

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no dice. Have also tried "cycling" the options in MVAMS, without success. Any ideas?

Click on the frame of the WX Radar. The black poly should disappear. I've fixed this the other day so that won't be necessary. For some reason MVAMS is not connecting to the B737 in FSX. It seems to work fine in P3Dv4.2.

I'm still looking for the cause.
