I Was Impatient and Now MM_MV.exe is Gone [Fixed but...]
Does your system meet the sims requirements?: YES
Did you temporarily disable your anti-virus program during the download process?: YES
Before installing did you disable UAC. (User Account Control)?: YES
Did you install, and are you running the sim as an admin?: YES
Before running the sim did you make sure the FSX/P3D directory is off limits to any AV scanning?: YES
Does your system have the required distributables?: YES
(Stopping here because this is where the error happened)
Aircraft: Boeing 737-200c
Sim platform: FSX: Steam Edition
Operating system: Win10
Version: FD 13.11.20.1 Installer v2.0
So I applied for the support forums after recently purchasing the B732c, and experiencing the A/T problem discussed here:
viewtopic.php?f=85&t=6323&start=0
Osh got back to me really quickly, but I had unwisely already tried to troubleshoot on my own. I came across the thread "How to solve most problems" found here:
viewtopic.php?f=150&t=6455
The only thing from the list I could think of was the Microsoft Distributables installation, so I tried that, and after the restart, MV_MM.exe had disappeared from my computer (and seemingly just this file) and the shortcut that remained on my desktop returned this message:
I found the MV_ACM.exe file and have added a shortcut to that, but I am hesitant to use that as this is not the prescribed method. In the meantime, I found the fix for my A/T problem, but now I'm scared to break anything, so I haven't tried it yet.
Outside of my own poor judgement though, I've enjoyed every minute with this bird.
Thanks for a great plane!

Re: I Was Impatient and Now MM_MV.exe is Gone
Update: Clean install fixed it and A/T is working now but I'll leave this up in case someone has the same problem
