737 is a perfect ride until touchdown then crashes FSX SE
Boy do I love this add on, however, upon touchdown ---> every single time <--- it crashes FSX SE and then restarts with an error message.
I installed using Milviz's installation instructions without any issues.
Any help is grandly appreciated.
FSX-SE
WINDOWS 7 - 64 Bit
NVIDIA GeForce 960
Intel i7-2600 - 3.4 GHz

Re: 737 is a perfect ride until touchdown then crashes FSX S
"A fatal error occurred Flight Simulator is restarting" ....something very close to this.
Every time, when the main gear touches down, FSX freezes with the restart error message.
Thanks for your interest in the issue.

We need the complete error message. You can find it in the Control Panel\Administrative Tools\Event Viewer\Windows Logs\Application

What happens if you don't turn on the autobrake?

Now that's something I have yet to try. I will do a quickie flight this morning and give it a whirl. I always use minimum or medium autobrake out of habit. I'll be in touch. Thank you!

If it is what I think it is...may have to redo hooks for autobrake in SE.

Re: 737 is a perfect ride until touchdown then crashes FSX S
Ok, I did something else just to try before the flight. I started up FSX SE and instead of choosing a default aircraft first at the airport of choice, I chose a Milviz 737, tried starting the engines to no avail, then when I tried to "end flight" it gave me this error message that I retrieved:

I don't know if it's related. I will now try the flight after choosing a Milviz 737 AFTER I start with a default aircraft. I'll be back in touch.

Landed beautifully! Without any auto brakes. Okay, so after a successful touch down I ended the flight and another error came up and restarted FSX:

Honestly, I can live with the errors after I shut down at the gate, which is what I did. So there must be an issue with the auto brakes as you suggested. Damn this airplane is so great. Thanks for your help.

Chances are when the autobrake errors are fixed the shutdown error will be fixed.

Curious if there's something I should be trying/working on on this end?JonathanBleeker wrote:Chances are when the autobrake errors are fixed the shutdown error will be fixed.

Not at this time. Right now, everyone is busy on other hints. We will get to this as and when we can. My apologies.

Oh man, no rush! And no apologies necessary, I apologize if I seemed impatient - not the case, simply making sure you all were not waiting for me. I can land with no autobrakes for now, no problem. Thanks for all your help!
