Hmmmmm…yes on the TO run it felt a little sticky…I was guessing at VR…then I saw the bugs had been set and I hadn't hit VR yet…when I reached VR it "unstuck" and started flying…which I assume is what it is supposed to do…is that what you mean by "sticky"?

No, by 'sticky' he means that the default ground friction is set too high in FSX/P3D.
BTW, those speed bugs are adjustable, left-click and drag them to your preference. I pre-set them to the book values during initialization routine.

OK-hmmm, in FSX a little push in power to get the jet moving (per the law if inertia) and it seems to move along just above idle…I'd say "stickiness" (aka the Coefficient of Friction, μ = F / N…yes, I am a Mechanical Engineer) seems about right for dry asphalt and gravel runways. Thanks for clarifying.

When you say "your preference" you actually mean the correct V1, VR, V2 speeds calculated for aircraft weight, airport elevation, and WX conditions (i.e. icing). I haven't found the usual tables in the documentation yet…I sincerely hope they are there somewhere…otherwise I will be force to use something called "math"
BTW, I am a RTFM guy…however, this one has a lot of detailed manuals…I haven't made it through all of them yet. This is a great sim plane!
UPDATE:
V speeds are on page PI.10.1 of FCOM Boeing 737-200.pdf in the Manuals download folder near the bottom of the 737-200 Combi product page …and there was much rejoicing.

Roger that! As I wrote earlier I preset the bugs to approximately what V speeds are for a standard day and load. Mostly it was to keep 'em from being bunched up together at minimum speed.

Is this still available somewhere? So far my only issue with the 737 has been the need for near 50% power just to get rolling for taxi (and just how quick it slows down afterwards). It makes precise parking at a gate tricky. I use P3Dv4.3 if that makes any difference.
