Bad B737_XML.zip in Problem with doors Topic
The B737_XML.zip file linked in the "Problem with doors" topic is bad.
I encountered the same problem with shift+E 2,3,4 doors not working that was addressed in the "Problem with doors" topic. I happily read the posts and so downloaded the linked B737_XML.zip to obtain the new B737_XML.CAB. I get an "Unexpected end of data" when extracting. Is there a good one available?
Happy landings

That is an ancient post. Installers have been updated several times since then.
Do the doors open if you click on them from any exterior view?

I am running FSXA so no click from outside. I should add that I use Win7Pro, AMD II X4 810, ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series.

You really don't need to unzip any .CAB files. They should only be placed in the aircraft's ..\panel folder or the sim's ..\gauges folder.anylanding wrote: ↑Sat Jan 05, 2019 7:17 pmthe new B737_XML.CAB. I get an "Unexpected end of data" when extracting. Is there a good one available?
In any case, here is a copy of the last B737_XML.CAB file:

Thanks N4GIX, I was reading an old topic and I now understand that the new installers should have an updated B737_XML.Cab file.
I should now should start a new topic specifically about the problem with shift+E 2,3,4 doors not working in FSXA, Win 7.
I found a workaround for those with a some FSX file experience. It is simply a popup panel with a door control gauge.
Search for DoorContrl.zip. (Notice the absent second "o" in Contrl.) Kudos the author, Georg Aubele.
But I sure would like to get a real fix for this bird.
Regards

xml file didn't help me. I installed fresh tonight with MV_B737-200C_v4.180823 and the doors still don't work. Replaced cab file with the one linked in this thread. Doors still don't work.
aircraft.cfg shows 4 exits, all defined.
Maybe FSX:SE problem?
And, yeah, that doorcontrl works great!
