I have tried both with and without dx10 (restarting FSX after changing).
Should I leave dx10 on or turn it off while we are troubleshooting?

Better leave it off unless you deliberately want to have it on.

If you are running DX10 and used Steve's DX10 fixer, it may have overwritten the lighting effects

I am not familiar with Steve's DTX10 Fixer. So no I'm not running it. DTX10 preview is off.

I am still concerned about the failure to load 4 dynamic textures:
$b737_wx
$int_tg_1
$int_tg_0
$c310_vc_05
My system loads the other 18 dynamic textures from Milviz_737_200_interior.MDL with no error.
I have come across this error just once before in freeware model. I can't find any info on this subject in the FSX SDK or in a web search.

Thank you JonathanBleeker and N4GIX.
I can't keep doing this right now. It's making me sick.
I'll come back to it when I feel better and have more time.

Regards
