Repaint C310R N133CW
Just putting this one out there in case anyone wants to paint it for the Redux, it's a 1978 310R and looks pretty sharp. But might be a tuff one to do?

I have that one in my 'ToDo' folder. At the moment I'n just putting the final tweaks to N245BM for Redux.

The two pictures you have above are the only ones I can find on the whole of the internets! Most of it I can figure out except the rear view of the engines. Does the black end in a rounded end or does it come to a point? If anyone has knowledge of the airplane I'd love to know.

Hi Ron,
The pictures in the old Northern Jet Sales ad include one photo of the wing locker. Unfortunately the locker is open but the bit that is visible sure looks like the striping all comes to a point. Hope that helps a little 'cause I'm sure looking forward to this one.

Yes, I saw that. All it really shows is the silver-ish stripe runs beyond the locker. It's odd that only these pictures exist of what is a striking plane.

Evidently N133CW was painted at Crider Aircraft Painting, however I looked on their website and didn't see any additional photos. Thinking about e-mailing them and asking if they have any examples of C310R's they have painted in the past and could they send me a couple of photos.
I'll let you know what I find out?
Cheers

Excellent! I converted the round end to a pointy end and I must say I'm convinced. If it were mine that's the way I'd go.

A chap on the AVSIM forum made contact with the painters of 3CW and they confirmed it looks just the way I imagined. How lucky was that?!

Hi Ron,
Thanks for this repaint, lovely job. I had to have, it as the registration letters are my initials in the correct sequence.
