Is anyone willing to do the yellow Songbird repaint? Or any Songbird for the new Redux 310R?

Thanks.

Is it real or fictional?

It's real, from some old TV show, the guy flew one and it was named Songbird.

There was a black one in the show and another season there was a black and yellow one.

"Sky King" was a TV show from the 50's that featured two Cessna aircraft owned by a rich rancher in the west (Arizona?). The first was a T-50 Bobcat and the replacement was a C310.

The C310 had two paint scheme during the run of the show (although since the show was in B&W no one noticed!). The first was the same yellow scheme the T-50 had, the later one was blue and white.

What’s a K Ron?

I think he means the actual aircraft is a K model. The Milviz C310 is an R model; the last of the series.

Sorry, making assumptions. The K model doesn't have a rear window or extensions to the rear of the engines. Wouldn't look right.

Didn't know that, so I can't have a yellow, black, and yellow/black 310? I'd pay good money for this. Such is life I guess, what a disappointment. If I knew this I would have never upgraded to the 310R.

If you're offering money I guess someone will do it for you. In my ignorance I did a K for the original. Never was happy with it.

So there's no way it can be done? Bummer.

Correct me If I am wrong, but I believe Ron means that a songbird livery would not be correct for that particular model, however, there is no reason why the livery could not be adapted to suit the 310R.

Didn't you say you had this livery for our original 310R?

Yes, but as I posted and was told the liveries will not work on the Redux so it’s very disappointing
I don’t really care if it’s not technically correct, I just wish I could have those liveries

I painted a Songbird livery for the old C310R. The old model was my very first paint project for Milviz. I painted a lot of liveries for the old model (four of them were transferred to the redux).
My intention is to make most of those liveries available for the C310 Redux. Basically this will require all textures to be adapted to a paint kit that differs a lot from the old one. And lack of time is an issue for me right now.
But be patient. There will be more repaints for the 310 Redux (including the Songbird livery). Here's the old one (I also painted a yellow version)
