no instrument panel lights

Post by pmesmer » Tue Jul 18, 2017 4:23 pm

No matter what I do, I can't get the instrument panel light to work. I am running FSX as administrator but that didn't help. Other posts have written about round instrument panel knobs below the start panel and fuse being in the right foot well. My F-86 has none of these. I get the engine running and everything seems to be working except my instrument panel lights. ;)

I believe you mentioned something about the MV_F86_NL.exe crashing. Can you post the error report please?

I've looked. It doesn't seem to be in my computer. :)

Can you find it in your Sim directory\SimObjects\Airplanes\Milviz F-86\texture folder?

His AV likely removed it.

Disable your AV.

uninstall the product.

redownload and reinstall product.

Make SURE your AV is NOT scanning the SIM directory before re-enabling your AV

Make SURE you are following ALL of the instructions given to you by Osh in the initial email to get into this forum.

Failure to do so will ABSOLUTELY result in the Night Lighting NOT WORKING.

Send me your proof of purchase and then you will be able to post your issue here:http://www.milviz.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=113
..but let's get the Sabre going first!

I disabled all anti-virus programs, uninstalled the airplane and reinstalled it. Now I have the same problem I had originally. I installed the airplane. My computer said the installation was successful. I opened FSX and the airplane was not there. I am back to square one.

Something doesn't make sense here. Is there even a Milviz F-86 in your simobjects/Airplanes folder?
