Unable to start

I just installed my Sabre on my new computer. Got a new installer (from my account) and turned off my antivirus. Got what appeared to be a normal installation. Tried to start the engine using the quick start steps in the manual. Hear the starter unit, but at step 4 (throttle does move out of the lock position) I do not get a start (no rpm or engine exhaust temp increase). I tried several times paying close attention to the manual. No light off. I uninstalled and did a complete new install. Same results - no start.
Advise/help please.

You enabled the ground power unit? Also you need to click the throttle twice to move it out of off to idle.

Hi Jonathan,
Yes. The power unit is running. I also click the base of the throttle twice (the throttle then moves) - however, no engine start (no rpm or exhaust temp increase).

You move the battery switch back into the battery position after the start switch?

Yes I did (part of step #3).

Once the switch is back in the battery position, do you see RPM indications at least before you try to light off?

Hi Jonathan,
Yes, the RPM increases (small dial) to about 30%. However, when I double click the throttle housing, that dial decreases to zero again. I also see the battery come alive when I throw it's switch.
How do I uninstall - so I can do another (clean) install of v.170607?
regards,
Bill

Run the installer and check the uninstall box.
One other question, if you press Shift+Z what is the fuel percentage? I have a sneaking suspicion this may be that odd quirk that sometimes occurs where the jet loads with 0 fuel and you need to play with the fuel slider in the loadout menu.

Fuel percentage is 52%.

Forgot about the engine master switch (just above the battery switch. Shows how long since I have last flown the Sabre). Is that on?

Yes. Step #2 (left click the Engine master switch) puts it in the upper position (on). It is still on in Step #4 (when you click the throttle grip two times.

Here are my steps and the reactions:
• Installed using latest installer (v4.170607)
• Select F-86 in P3Dv4
o Aircraft appears. Hear the engine winding down
• Step #1: following the (“Just Tell me How to Start it Procedures”)
o Select Shift +2
Table appears. “Misc” light is lit.
o Select “Ground Pwr”
Both “Ground Pwr” and “Chocks” are selected
Hear the Ground Power unit running
• Step #2:
o Left click the Engine Master Switch.
Switch moves up
• Step #3:
o Right click Battery Starter switch
Momentary switch movement
RPM on small dial increases to 25 %
• Hear engine noise
o Left click the switch
Moves to the “Battery” position (up)
• The upper yellow and lower yellow lights turn on
• Step #4:
o Left click the Throttle Grip twice:
Throttle grip moves forward
Engine starts winding down

Apologies. Things got hectic here and I forgot your post. Next question is if you have any hardware controls tied to P3D fuel selector or fuel valve/ignition controls.
