Re: F-86 Non TP Switches and Payload problem
Nope, Non-TP: the light rheostats for the panel and instruments don't work, the landing lights work but only the left side, trim won't work, can't adjust the gun deflection.
TP : the light rheostats for the panel and instruments don't work, the landing lights work but only the left side, elevator trim won't work.
Also, I'm still getting the AppCrash on MV_F86_NL.exe.
So maybe I downloaded a bad installer?

I don't think the installer is at fault here given that I sent you custom files which work fine on my side. Please post the AppCrash error messages and any other errors you find in the Event Viewer involving the F-86.

Drop this into your TP version texture folder and tell me if you still get the crash: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xday8ffj0zezb ... L.zip?dl=0
If my hunch is correct, the crash is occurring when you shut down, not when you start. Which means that the lighting system should still be working.
One other question, are you certain your P3D v4 version is v4.1? Not v4.0? You right clicked on your sim1.dll and checked the version number?

I'll give it a go here in a minute...
I'm running P3D 3.4.22 and P3D 4.1.7.22

Nope, cockpit lights didn't work, the exterior lights don't work, the landing light didn't work at all, flaps will deploy on landing, but can't be lowered before take off, hydraulic systems seem normal, TP weapons operate as expected; everything else seemed to work alright.

Did you test that in v4 or in v3.4? The exe I sent was the x64 version.

Can you try enabling the simconnect log system and send me the log?

Didn't get a chance to do it yet, family issues. I'll try again tonight.

Ok I was able to determine that the Sys dll is loading correctly so your ACM, switches, and other controls should be working fine like you said.
So your only problem is the cockpit lighting, trim, and flaps?
One thing I noticed which is odd in your log, is that every 10 seconds a new SimConnect client gets Opened called "Location". Any ideas what is spamming that?

Yes, the lights and trim are inop. The Flaps will lower on landing but not prior to takeoff. I have no idea what is doing that, but it might be plan-g, FS-FLightControl, AS2016, or Skyforce they all use location.

What commands are you using for the trim and flaps?
