I just bought the B-55, and have had nothing but trouble getting the key to work using the F1 system..........after a few hours of trial and error, I did get the exe to work, but now having much problems with the throttle, prop and misture quadrant to stay as set in FSUIPC??..........each time I assigned the levers to the function, I would go back to the virtual panel, and the controls were mixed up, this has happened several times, so it is impossible to taxi or control the speed in any way, so I go back to FSUIPC, re-assign each, back to the panel, and BANG, the controls are mixed!!.............then I figured it is time to reinstall the whole program, then the key doesn't work..............very frustrating!!.........can anyone explain why so much problem with the controls..............bad download, bad exe install??................wish I could have purchased direct from Milviz...............B42L8

OK, new day......finally got it figured, have to use the exe from the C. Military Vis..../exe, not the one in my D. Download storage drive...............that did not have to go thru the F1 re-install format............so got that installed and just did the SP as well, but for some reason, I cannot get the new Saitec TQ to hold the FSUIPC settings that I set for the B 55.........that has the throttles in the center two levers, but can't believe that would cause the controls to jump all over when starting the plane??........if anyone has any ideas on what is the gremlin here, would be grateful!!..........and one other thing, I cannot start the right engine without jiggling the fuel valves, have to say I have not read the manual for the fuel info yet, still can't taxi the plane with the controls so messed up..............just want to make sure the problems to date are not with the B55 install............B42L8

May I suggest that you redo the download and install but first turn off your antivirus software....

I bought the B55 from a vendor who appears to not have SP1 yet . Since I 'fly' your B55 daily, I'm not opposed to buying another copy directly from you folks at Milviz to get the latest and greatest software. Before I do so, is the service pack available separately on your website after I download the B55 application or is it integrated into the package that I'll get?

That's odd, since everyone should have it already. It's not truly a "Service Pack" though as it's an entirely new installer. It's much easier than trying to "patch things..."

Thanks guys. I picked up the SP1 edition of the B55 from Flight Sim last night and installed it successfully over my original edition of early June. Stan'by for some suggestions. gb

But i found a problem during night flight - a gauge or panel lights not work. I hear click sound as I try to click them on but nothing happen. An other planes they works without any problem. I read that there is some problem with lights and a blue squares (spot view) but I didn't found problem like this. I think this is a problem occured if water settings (nVidia) is too low. I must use High value or in another case I get similar effects here and there. Yes - but I would like to flight during night, too but in this case it's very challenge job without gauge lights. Any solution?

are you using SP1, SP2 or acceleration?

As I wrote - FSX Gold Edition and reason of that I use Acceleration...
