VRS TACPAC FLIR/Milviz F-15E problems

If any of you experience issues with the TACPAC FLIR display and have the Milviz F-15E installed please use this weapons dll:

does this mean that Miviz F-15E is ok with the new TacPack. I am not a pre-order of this but I will be getting it if your F-15E is compatible for sure. I always hoped this would be the case.Cheers

If you mean that the MV F-15E will work with tacpack as in using it's weapons and stuff... then no. Not at this time...

We have to wait until two things happen:

1) tacpack's dev side is released (and so is the SDK that shows us how to integrate it into our systems)

2) we do the integration.

this might take... who knows...

I don't see why it shouldn't be. The problem was a conflict between the 2 modules in attaching to the FSX DirectX instance. With that removed it shouldn't matter what VRS does as long as you don't try to run TACPACK while running the F-15E in its current state.

"TacPac"? I wasn't aware that there was a TacPac. I never use TacPac, so I don't purchase AC with it.

No it doesn't make it use TACPACK, just resolves some conflicts between VRS TACPACK and the F-15E's weapons module. But it also introduces some other stability fixes which is why I recommend downloading and installing this dll.

No "path" option given to install. It just opens to "jibberish" I can't read. (desktop)
Direct manually to recommended path, "DUH"

It isn't an installer. It is a file you must unzip into your FSX location\Modules\Milviz as the post at the top states.

I already have that .dll in my modules folder dated 2011, as the original file. Do I need to update it??

Probably although given how temperamental this bird has been for some I would say if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Do you have a fresh link of the Moduels folder , i clicked on it and it says it was deleted.IM having problems with the FLIR on the superbug and IRIS A 10. i was directed here from VRS forums.

I believe it is present in the latest installer, but you would still need to disable the F-15E module in your dll.xml, or set it to load only on request and don't load when you want to fly with TACPACK.
