Gear doesn't retract
Hi,
after a long time, I re-flew on the T-38; since I switched to P3D v4.3, is there some incompatibility with the P3D new version? After TO the landing gear doesn't retract (under 200 knots, as usual); the green lights flashes and, even trying with the ctrl+G (manual), the gear is still out.
I checked on the MAMS for some update, but I didn't find anything.
This is the first time I faced this kind of issue.
Thans for any help,
regards,
Fulvio

Re: Gear doesn't retract
Hi,
thank you for your quick reply; I wrote about the ctrl+G (ldg gear manual handling) as a desperate attempt to make it work; well, after more than ten years of flight sim, I learned that the gear control is G
.
BTW, in all of my planes (the five MilViz ones too), I chose to operate the gear assigning in FSUIPC two commands ("gear up" & "gear down") , by means of a two way switch in the TM Hotas Wartog. It works properly in each plane of my hangar. The T-38 gear doesn't work in any way - nor by the FSUIPC double command, nor assigning a simple G command or neither pressing the G key itself on my pc keyboard -. The wings gear lights blinks and the nose gear light doesn't illuminate at all.
I thought about some missing update since I flew the T-38 without any single issue (apart form the solved int lights issue) up to v4.2. This is the reason I asked about some update of my version; but - as I wrote you in my former post -, opening the MAMS I didn't get any alert of some update.

Fulvio

Have you tried gear up immediately after TO?

Hi,
1)yes, I'm using your last version
2)yes, just seconds after TO gear uis retracted; not exceeding 200 mph and as I'm used to do with all the airplanes. It never occurred to me with any of my panes. It's really weird, actually. That blinking of the two wing gear lights and the front gear light always off. I tried to re-install it, just in case, but to no avail. It's absolutely nincredible, I can't find an intelligent reason; the T-38 always flew fine up to its last flight, in v4.2.

Hi,
these are the very same settings for all the planes in my hangar. And, apart for some mistake, I never had any issue of this kind.
Well, eager to get your new "C" version, let's hope for the best.

Re: Gear doesn't retract
Wrong menu. I said the failures menu, not the realism settings menu
.
The reason I ask is I was helping a tester on the T-38C figure out why his landing gear wasn't working properly. Turned out he was running a procedurally generated mission flight which somehow had the failure flags enabled on the landing gear.

Ok, I'll check it pout. In the meantime, an update. Two or three times, the landing gear got retracted keeping pressed the ctrl+G key (!).

Hi, the one I found is this one, since you wrote me about flags on the landing gear. Is it correct? If not, please, tell me where to find it, since I checked ev'ry single menu.

Re: Gear doesn't retract
Nope. You have to have your flight running, and then go to the Vehicles dropdown list at the top of the screen. The failures menu is in there.

Got it. Well, with the T-38 selected, ALL the Categories & their COMPONENTS are unchecked.

No. There's some bx to be checked?
