Interior Lights
Hi,
after having given all the Permissions as Admninistrator and after opening P3D v3 as Administrator, interior lights doesn't work.
here attached some image of the Permission file (.cfg and .exe) and the dark cockpit. Exterior lights are all OK.
Perhaps I forgot some permission.
regards,
Fulvio

Yes, Colin,
installed on P3D v3 just one hour after received the email notification. Of course even Migration Tool disabled - but, actually, I'm using it very, very seldom -.

You've had this same problem with our products before. Did you do all of the things we asked you before?

Re: Interior Lights
Yes, you remember well. But - in the Phantom case - all was fixed 1) giving all the permissions to the .cfg and .exe files and 2) opening P3D v3 as Administrator.
Excuse me, what do you mean with "Change liveries"? Anyway, I'll re-install it, retrieving all the permissions.
Feedback will follow.

Re: Interior Lights
Hi Coilin,
can't do it. The system tells me that I have more recent version installed. Look at the attachemnts.
1) The list is all the Redistributable already installed in my pc
2) The warning in which I'm told that a newer version has been detected in my pc.
BTW, did you received my email with the .exe. and .cfg files?

Re: Interior Lights
I have exactly the same problem after installing the new T 38A P3D 2.x install and also cannot install the MS Visual C++ as suggested because I also have a newer version installed.

Re: Interior Lights
please ensure that you have the appropriate SimConnect libraries installed by running the SimConnect.msi found in your P3D\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib.

Re: Interior Lights
Hi,
checked and reinstalled the red (èlease see images below, but to no avail.
Colin, as soon as I installed this T-38 I was trembling when rotating the interior lights knobs. And, as I - alas - fear, they didn't work.
Now I'm wondering why eventually all was fixed in the P-38 (my first lighting curse) and in the Phantoms when givinf complete permissions to all the .exe and .cfg files and starting P3D as Administrator (and I'm sure this has been the correct move). Fortunately (for me, of course), I can see that I'm not a lone unlucky man.
I retired as an executive, so I never gave for granted anything I used to buy for my company, but - at the same time - I always trusted the great brands. In this case, I'm speaking about MilViz, which I purchased from all the military planes since FSX. But now I'm at the same moment eager to buy the ADV T-38, the next to come F-100, the C-130J and so on, but trembling at re-beginning to write you about future issues.
Believe me, I'm not happy to annoy you or any of your collegues, really.
Regards,
Fulvio

Here we are: well, nope.
Two shots; before (TM1) and after (TM21) moving the knobs.

In the same sim, does the P-38 and F-4 pit lighting work?
