Hi,
don't know if it's linked to the interior lights issue, but from the outside I don't see the afterburner flame when acticated; just its sound.

Fulvio

that's an issue I had as well. there was also no glow in the engine nozzles as well. I shut down the engines and restarted them and the glow and the afterburners reappeared. also the landing lights were on with the switch in the off position. When I turned the landing lights off using ctrl + L and then used the switch it then worked properly.

Just some of my experiences with the T-38.

I so like this airplane. I hope the experts have a solution soon!!

If you will go to the other post that I started about the interior lights, they sent me a new .dll for the PANEL file and it fixed the problem for me. You might give that a try.

Hi all,
sadly, I'm still flying the T-38 (standard version for P3D v3.2) only by daylight. I just tried to re-install it, give all the permissions, disabled all the anti-virus. All to no avail.
it's a real pity.

Fulvio

I'm sorry Fulvio... but there's not much we can do if you did absolutely EVERYTHING that was suggested...

Ok you are using the updated versions. Please post the error report from the NL.exe crash so I can trace the offset.

Hi Jonathan,
attached the only error I found in the event log. Attached even some shot of the interior (with light test switch ON) and exterior.
Well, from the TM I didn't see any MV_NL.exe start, as per the other MilVIz planes (F-4 and so on).
It's a real mistery; I don't think I'm missing anything, due to the lots and lots of planes I flew so far. Maybe there's some issue that generates some kind of incompatibility betwenn my pc and the T-38. Who knows?
Well, much more important for the F-4 updating to P3D v3.2.
Thanks again for your seriousness and professionalism in coping with this weird problem.
regards,
Fulvio

Is the MV_NL.exe in your task manager?

No, I didn't see it; actually, I even open the TM just remembering this issue in the F-4. But it should be seen, correct?
Just to try a desperate move, what do you think to send me the link to re-download the full T-38 .exe? I apologize in advance if this is an indecent proposal :-)

Hi, might I get again the download link that - silly me - I can't actually find in my folders? Who knows, perhaps redownloading and reinstalling it I could recover some missing file or exe. Only a very fa chance, but just to try a last time.
Thanks and regards,
Fulvio

Hi Kat, got it. Thanks for your kindness.
Feedback will follow; this time I'll deactivate my Microsoft Antivirus that, anyway, never gave me any problem. But who knows, maybe something happened downloading the T-38 exe; some corrupted file or who the hell knows!

Fulvio
