New T-38A Repaints Updated July 31, 2011 w/ US Navy livery!
Good evening all. Firstly I'd like to apologize to Gunnar. I have had these for about 3 days now, and have just now managed to find the time to get them uploaded. He went and tweaked the gloss on the old Beale Bandit to give it a little more shine, so for those who wanted a glossier look can now have it! Also posted here is the brand new Holloman AFB T-38A livery! Now if you guys will excuse me I am off to go take the Holloman bird for a spin as I have been waiting for this one. Hopefully everyone enjoys, and thanks again for visiting the site.

Re: New T-38A Repaints Released 20 July, 2011
always nice to have more, and that scheme is very nice to look at. Wasn't there an old school Randolph livery (among some others)? Like full size versions of what a lot of the AI are flying?

Gunnar has done it again! I think if he ever stops painting we will have to wonder what is wrong.
Finally though my branch of service is honored with this US Navy Test Pilot School livery from Gunnar! Looks fantastastic, and I cannot wait to fly it!

Screen captures. Thanks goes to Gunnar for these as well!
To the original downloaders please either redownload the file, or see Tpets post below on how to fix it. We have been testing the SP and an edit to the FDE file name for the SP (so we can keep track) accidentally made it into the read me file for copy/pasting. All you have to do is delete the number after the "sim=T38A1" in the aircraft.cfg file, or simply download the new file and incorporate. If you are reading this, and have yet to download then fear not. As the file you are downloading is the up to date one.

Just a heads up with regards to the NAVY texture, it seems a 1 has been placed in the sim= line. This could possibly be due to some individuals having the SP installed, or was just a mistype. Anyway, I just removed the 1 and it works fine. Thanks again for the great repaint.

Yes this was due to the SP. I just installed the new SP and the opposite happened as the FDE was newer than what all my repaints had in the sim line. I am re-uploading it now, and it will be fixed. Thanks for finding this.

Loving the black Holloman bird..by far my favorite! Hoping someone does the black/grey/black version that seems to be the other popular scheme with the USAF Training Command!

I have been working on several variations of the 'orca' or 'Shamu' liveries used by the Black Knights, Strikin' Snakes, Boxin' Bears, Shooters and other squadrons. These will be released during the next two weeks on FlightSim.com and Avsim.com.

Not sure if this would be the right place to ask, but what program do you use for the paints? I'm wanting to make a private repaint and I'm not sure what program to use.

The paint kit is composed of several ".psd" files, which is the default Adobe Photoshop format.
I use Photoshop, but you can use any graphics program that supports the use of levels.
I know that Paint Shop Pro (payware) and The Gimp (freeware) can open and save the default paintkit files. I have not used the Gimp, but believe it is adequate for most requirements.
Happy painting!

Just a couple of minor corrections to be done, and the 435th (Black Eagles) will be available as well.

There will be two sets: the 435th earlier out of Moody, GA as well as lately out of Randolph, TX.
Two similar schemes will soon be available for the 49th FTS (Black Knights), also formerly out of Moody, and lately out of Columbus, MS

The Gimp doesn't work with the paint kits. It does load them. But it doesn't show any changes. All it shows up as is a grid.
