Gunnar, while painting, take special note of the two "index marks" just ahead of the horizontal stabilizer on the starboard side. They seem to have gone AWOL on every livery except the "Smurf..."

The burner sound that's in there is a compromise - because there is only one burner sound coded, for both internal and external, it's kind of a mix of the two. Not near as loud on the outside as the real thing, and louder than normal on the inside. You could definitely hear it inside as I recall, but it was pretty soft.bstolle wrote:That's exactly the opposite from that what both real T-38 pilots in our team said.....Alpha wrote:Didn´t want to put it into the Support-Section: I would rather not have the Afterburner-sound. It´s unrealistic and you don´t need it.

Inside the sound change is really small and hardly detectable. asked a buddy of mine if he remembers any soundchange with burners. he is pretty sure theres hardly any change. just look at obfm hud tapes from iff on youtube. thats about what you hear in the real cockpit. and an obfm 3k setup is with burners...

If it really bothers you that much, load SND110.wav into any sound editor and lower the volume.Alpha wrote:Inside the sound change is really small and hardly detectable.
All of the custom sound effects are kept in this folder:
..\Sound\MilViz
NOTE: do not delete or rename the sound file, as doing so will cause FSX to crash and burn.

Today i flown in ICAO LOWW Vienna International Airport ILS RWY 34 with wind 28026G38KT observe on 080850Z first was a go around second landing was litle more extra speed.
Landing was safe but a big crab angel.
First approach was litle low i think was limit on Vmca, plane was rolling (10° per second belong the X axis) on flare that WY i decided to going around.

These are the first shots of the (unfinished) livery. There are still some adjustments to be done

Did this USNTPS ever get released?
Also, when I was at Pax River, working in the Maintenance Division in the AME shop, the T-38s looked like this. AMEC(AW) Peter C. Ward, USN, (Ret).
