Newer == newer glass cockpit setups like the Garmin G500 EFIS and MFD, not the GTNs and GNSs which are F1s older products.

Thank you Jonathan,
Now the first question is clear.
May you please answer the other 4 please?
I need to know which options I have.

Thank you

You have the following options:
F1 GTNs
F1 GNSs
RXP GTNs
RXP GNSs
Mindstar GNS
Free Radio
NAVSTAX radios

Free radio just gives an empty space on the panel to put any gauges you wish to have in the panel cfg that aren't supported in the MVAMS configuration.

Thank you Jonathan,
that is a great news. I have the NAVSTAX (that I like) in my DHC3.
1. May I use it in the MD530?
2. If yes. may you address me how to do it?
3. do I have to use the free radio option? if yes is there any link to support me in doing it?
4. May I install the ADF VOR, DME, transponder stack/gauges and have them working ?

Sorry for my questions...I hope it can be usefull also for the other MD530 owner.

Thank you

I don't know for sure how to add it to the MD-530 to get it in the VC since I wasn't involved in setting that up. 2D popups should be fine.

ok. How to do the 2D?
May you ask MILVIZ developer how to?

If it is possible it should be included in the MVAMS of the MD530, or at least to have the instructions of how to do.
I am sure many pilots would appreciate it

Thank you

ok. I have installed some instruments using the NAVSTAX tool.
(btw I see the following list in the NAVSTAX tool)
MILVIZ_MD_530
MILVIZ_MD_530.fr
MILVIZ_MD_530.gns
MILVIZ_MD_530.gtn65
MILVIZ_MD_530.gtn75
MILVIZ_MD_530.gtn765
MILVIZ_MD_530.mstar
MILVIZ_MD_530.rxp
MILVIZ_MD_530.STD

I did it in the MILVIZ_MD_530 and MILVIZ_MD_530.STD

But I am unable to see them when I load P3Dv4.

I tried the W button to activate 2D panel but..nothing.
I cannot figure out to see the instruments.

Do you know how?

Navstax is not implemented in MD530. You can only use them as a 2D pop up

The W button does not work. How to do it?
Thank you

Shift+1 or 2 or 3 or 4. One of those. You would need to check the list of available popups in the Vehicles dropdown menu.

Thank you Jonathan,
Finally I got them working.
To be precise: the VOR 1 works, VOR2 works. The bottom gauge in the VC is showing VOR1 and VOR2 not the ADF.

It is enough to fly but I must say that from MILVIZ I would have expected an higher level of information in the purchase page of the product and in the manual and an higher level of detail in the VC (the NAVSTAX works only in the 2D view).

Customers should be aware of this, before knowing that the flir camera is cosmetic, they should know these more important and critical information.

Thank you for your assistance.
Regards,
Stefano

What's available will vary from plane to plane. Have a look at our website for more details. If there's a specific model you're interested in, let us know.
The free radio option is usually selected via MVAMS (see pic)

I know it. I have the DHC3 turbo otter and its radio stack suite had a good choice. Full GPS to only analogic.

I am also happy that, in some way and only with the 2D panel, I have been able to install (with your assistance) a working suite of instruments (but not the ADF). It is strange but I can accept an aircraft without the ADF...it happens.

I knew also that the NAVSTAX was not integrated and I am happy to use it in someway. But I was expecting something more from MILVIZ. And, more important, it is an information that should be clearly stated in your information page considering that it is a basic equipment, before the cutwire and other non working accessories that are essentially cosmetic.

Well thank you for that information. Since I have the RXP GTN I will only purchase aircraft that include it. So I guess no more MILVIZ aircraft for me.
