Well I know where 530JR (cool red/black above) is based, at my home GA airport. She was out of her hangar today, but no know one around. I flew, came back, of course she was gone or back in the hangar. I'll see if I can contact the owner.

Hello Colin,

I've got a question. I've seen a screenshot of the 530F model - which is still in development - a few weeks ago. There were multiple things missing from it.

My questions:

1. What kind of ventilators will there be on the doors?
ajto_szellozo.jpg
2. Will there be a version without the freight hook and the antenna?
gep_hasa.jpg
3. Will there be a version with both wire cutters on it?

Thanks for the reply in advance!

hhelikopter-- The external renderings look VERY early and preliminary, with little or no fine detail. If you look at the interior renders, you can obviously see the great amount of detail in there. I suspect the VC development is ahead of the external model development, but the team just wanted to make us drool-- so they posted some WIP shots of the exterior.

Just my .02 cents.

There will be no ventilators. We have pics of MD530's with none of those and that's what we're going with.

The hooks will be removable as will the antennae.

The wire cutters are on the top and the bottom and will be removable as well.

Still, I suggest you put ventilators on it. Ones without it are really rare. You can find them even on the very early (~1966) models.

There's one round ventilator on the front door and two on the back. Ask anyone, they'll say that 98% of the helicopters has it. It would be really hot inside during the summer without it. Please think about this, I think it's an important detail. Thank you your work!

Thank you for your reply and consideration. Take a look at other pictures, there are hundreds, if not thousands where you can clearly see the ventilators. Maybe you just found the one where there isn't one. ;)

I'd just like to help you because I'd like this model to be beautiful and as real as it gets. :)

Thanks.

Push again and I won't.

Hi Krazycolin,

Have you decided about modeling the vent?

Thanks
