SR-71A Progress

A night view of the cockpit as the pilot is reviewing the flight plan by scrolling the pilot's map projector (bottom center). You can clearly see the red laser line drawn by the PVD (Peripheral Vision Display) as well as the night instrument lighting.

The SR-71A front cockpit coding is complete and will be in the hands of testers within days. Major work remaining (other than corrections to the front systems) is the RSO systems in the rear, mainly the Astroinertial (ANS) and inertial systems (INS) - some work has already been done on these.
