Yep...

and the starter instantly spins the prop up to like 1600RPM.

Never happen to me, magnetos on Both, starter switch on right console.
V4 or V5?

Btw. In default flight (start) I have Maule at full cold and dark stage.

Hi YoYo, i am using the default Extra before changing to a addon aircraft. The Engine starts when turning the Mags to both while Generator/Battery is on, but without hitting the Starter and without priming the Engine. Tried it several times and with multiple new starts on V5 (current build).

That’s the only thing about this aircraft that totally kills the immersion!! I wish to god they would fix the start sequence so the prop turns slowly like a real engine until you hit mags and fuel.

The only thing, again I’m guessing it’s how they coded the engine simulation, but when you land and are rolling out, throttle at idle the engine still sounds like it’s at full throttle rolling out at 40knots….I HATE THIS!!! Is there anyway I can change something to make it act more like a normal engine?

Other than the engine simulation the rest of the airplane is absolutely phenomenal!!!!!

There is a service pack coming but there are a couple of outstanding issues that need to be resolved before it can be released.
