Plane moving with throttle idle at startup...
Hello,
when I enter the T38A Adv Redux (ready to fly), the throttle is at idle position as it should (in the VC and on my HOTAS hardware) but both engine are fed with a 2000PPH fuel flow as indicated by the gauges, and the plane is moving. After going throttle full throttle, back to idle, and waiting about 10 secs, the fuel flow drops to normal (500pph for idle).
This does not happen with the T38C, and the two planes share the same FSUIPC profile.
I do not know what's going on...
Thanks for help
Vvince

You set the afterburner threshold in the A?

yes, it is set (in sim, T38A addons menu).

You may want to re-create your T-38A's FSUIPC profile.

Re: Plane moving with throttle idle at startup...
I can try, but :
- the T38C has the same profile, and works fine
- the position of the throttle in the virtual cockpit perfectly matches the position of the hardware throttle.
The discrepancy is between the throttle position and the fuel flow. When I go full throttle and back to idle, the fuel flow first come back to 2000pph for about 10 seconds, before it goes down to 500pph, 10 sec after the throttle is back to idle.
I'll report after new FSUIPC profile.

New FSUIPC profile does not help...

Are you loading a saved flight or selecting the aircraft from the menu? What's your default flight?

Hello,
it seems that creating a default flight with another plane (in my case the stock Piper Cub) solves the issue, even this default plane is not loaded. Before that the T38 was my default plane.
Thanks for the help.
Cheers

Yeah default flights affect numerous things. I usually recommend deleting it and letting the sim make a new one.

Re: Plane moving with throttle idle at startup...
I am actually using SIMstarter NG software, a utility which launch the sim with selected sceneries, addons, options .... The T38 adv redux was my default plane set in SIMstarter, overwriting the F22 default plane of P3D. Lesson learned, I'll set now the piper cub (or another simple plane) as default.
Thanks for the useful support. And congrat for the fantastic T38 redux.

The default F-22 is also fine
