Landing Lights rotate and other things
I didn´t find in the manual how to turn the landing lights out of the fuselage.
Engine start: After both engines spooled up, I detached the huffer and the engines stopped. I tried with a little more throttle, then they remained running. The throttles were not in cut off position before but at idle. Do I need some forward throttle to start the engines or keep them running?
In MVAMS there are programmable functions forward spoilers and rear spoilers. I wonder which spoilers this should be. The spoilers between the main landing gear are working with P3D spoiler function. I have no effect programming these spoilers so far. Please clarify.
Within payload of P3D4 are different weapons listed. Is it possible to make them appear on the plane with the correct weight or is this a function of another P3D version, like with the default Falcon?
Thanks
Dan

Ok, found the solution for the landing light. It´s the switch Position Bright/Off/DIM. Must be on Bright. Is that exactly like in the real plane?

Re: Landing Lights rotate and other things
Yes on the landing lights.
For engine start: Did you turn on the master battery and generators?
For speedbrake: Forward and Aft are different functions. Aft extends the speedbrakes incrementally (you have to hold the button in), Forward retracts them. If you have a Warthog HOTAS, the same speedbrake switch on the throttle that DCS A-10C uses should be used.
Re payloads: Negative. That's a carry over from the T-38C's no bomb drop scoring system which uses TACPACK to get weapon impact point parameters without actually dropping a weapon. Nothing will show on the aircraft. Only the travel pod (which can be selected via the ingame Shift+2 popup) can be shown on the aircraft.

Re: Landing Lights rotate and other things
I don´t know if you misunderstood the light question. I didn´t ask how to turn it on, but how to turn it forward. As I wrote before, it´s done by switching on the position lights. That doesn´t make sense to me. Maybe a bug.
Yes, battery and generators were on. The engines were running. I could see the temperature rising and the rpm increase. Maybe I forgot to switch off the airstarter first. One can hear the airstarter but there´s no optical sign, that it´s working. I hope the ignition buttons are moving one day.
Thanks for the speedbrakes. Now I understand how it´s meant. I have no switch left on the throttle but on the stick. I give it a try.

Re: Landing Lights rotate and other things
Its not a bug. The real jet only extends the landing light with the position lights on.
The unanimated ignition buttons are deliberate, in order to prevent artefacts from P3D attempting to optimize parts.

Thanks a lot for your fast response. I did a few short flights with touch and goes at Nellis and got well used to the plane now. It´s really a pleasure to fly.
