Weather Radar CTD

Hello,
as soon as I select the WX RDR on the PFD I have a CTD.
I'm using Hifisim's AS P3D Version 7668.

Are you getting "too much" precipitation? Can you provide details where are you flying when you get the CTD?

I was flying out of ENKR (Kirkenes / Norway) without any visible precipitation.
METAR was: ENKR 221620Z 25008KT CAVOK M04/M10 Q0997 RMK WIND 731FT 25022KT

Couple questions...
1. Can you please post your sim1.dll version?
2. Weather Radar. Are you using just the Wx option or any other option?
3. Can you please post the version of the MV_WXM.dll file (is in the panel folder for the P180)
Also, Is the sim crashing if you dont have Active Sky running?

Hello,
what do you mean with "just the WX option"? I can use the Terrain mode without problem but as soon as I select RDR the CTD is coming.
Tried it also without active sky running. Same result.

If you are using enhanced atmospherics I do not believe it is compatible yet with that.
Can you please verify that you are using the latest version of P3D?

I can confirm that I'm using the latest P3D Version and enhanced atmospherics are also disabled.

Can you please try the new version at the top of the forum in the announcement section.
If you do get a crash again please try to provide as much detail as possible such as if was just WX or WX+T etc.
You may have crash logs in Windows event viewer that can help nail down the problem.

Hello,
please excuse my delay in answering (was busy with different thing / not flying since then):
1.: 5.1.12.26829
3.: 1.50.0.1
I tested it shortly on GND some minutes ago and for the first time ever, I could use the RDR. I was able to select different modes and everything seems to work. I didn't get any echos, but as I mentioned, I didn't test it in flight.
Will report further!

Depending upon your graphics settings it is possible that you exceed 8gb vram and CTD with all the bells and whistles on.
If you do get a crash again there should be something recorded in windows event viewer that can assist us in troubleshooting this further.
