Release Week Bugs
Happy Release Week! I am sure a few of these are already known but I wanted to supply a list of things I have experienced out of the gate so they can hopefully get addressed when the Avanti is re-released.
1. [Was probably a stall, turn your surface de-ice on.] Dramatic pitch changes using autopilot. Upon crossing FL310 climbing to FL320 using FLC 157KIAS, the aircraft pitched down to about -15° before pitching up +30° then back to a normal climb pitch in time to level off. Autopilot was not disengaged.
2. Scrolling down on the heading knob causes the bug to rotate counter-clockwise in 40° intervals. Scrolling up causes the bug to rotate in small intervals clockwise like normal.
3. There is an engine spool-down sound after moving the Condition Level from CUT OFF to G.I. after NG crosses 13% during engine start (audible in the external and internal view).
4. Pressing CLR/DEL in the virtual cockpit deletes the last character and then the entire entry in the scratchpad. The 2-D window only deletes the last character
5. Trying to enable charts on the MFD takes me to a Navigraph page that says “The client application is not known or is not authorized.”
6. [Resolved - Disable all Mouse Controls under 'Camera' preferences tab or exit Chaseplane completly.] As far as I can tell, the entire system test knob (with all of the test options) is not currently operative. I tried selecting each system to test and right-click on the knob to begin the test and nothing happens.
7. Condition Level operation improvement. It's rather sensitive and confusing to operate. I right-clicked the condition level when it was at Max and watched it slowly retard all the way back to Cutoff mid-flight. It's not broken, but better interface logic would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Re: Release Week Bugs
1) sounds like the behavior of a stall.
5) We will need to reach out to navigraph on that
6) Press middle mouse button on knob
I'll look at other stuff later when I get time

Re: Release Week Bugs
Regarding the system test knob, clicking middle mouse does not initiate anything.
Could this be an installation issue on my end? Middle mouse (click and hold) is the 'Pan' command for ChasePlane if that could be a conflict. Although I disabled ChasePlane and use middle mouse with still no effect.

Yes the middle mouse button on chaseplane will conflict. Have had similar conflicts with the KA and it always comes back to CP. I don't think you can run chaseplane at all just disabling the button within seems to not fix it.norcali.pilot wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 3:42 pmRegarding the system test knob, clicking middle mouse does not initiate anything.

Re: Release Week Bugs
Thank you for the explanation. Will this be patched out or a caveat of the Piaggio?

Re: Release Week Bugs
You might contact the author of chase plane and see if he can hard disable that function when you turn it off. He is open to feedback.

Re: Release Week Bugs
If I uninstall my current version of the Avanti, would I be able to reinstall and activate it since the product is currently unreleased? I want to see if a reinstallation will resolve anything. I still have the installer provided by the purchase.

Re: Release Week Bugs
Uninstall/reinstall will not hurt. If you run out of activations you can always email info@milviz.com to have your key reset.

Re: Release Week Bugs
I re-installed and nothing has been resolved or broken further but I am still really excited about the product. Can we get any insight on the current development/updates for the Avanti?
