PC6 Porter dead panel and prop

Just bought the PC TurboPorter. Everything works except the panel does not register information and the prop does not turn. The plane flies fine, but with a dead prop and non-informative instruments. FYI when I installed, Microsoft several times interrupted to say it was protecting me from unknown company and did I want to continue? HELP!

At first glance, from what you say, it may be that Microsoft has interfered with the install.

If it's any consolation they give exactly the same warning when installing their MSFS2020 SDK - neither program contains anything malicious.

can you try running the XMLTools installer again?
XMLToolsInstaller.exe

The XMLToolsInstaller.exe is no longer available and i'm having the same issue. This is my 5th install attempt, and its always the same issue, including several reformats of this HD.
