Idle Control Lever Safety Latch FSX

I watched a tutorial on youtube and in the engine shut down the guy was able to flip the safety latch for the idle control lever just as it says in the manual. However, I am unable to get the latch to move in FSX:SE. Nothing happens with a mouse over. The cursor doesn't change tot he little hand. I just purchased and installed.

Hi there,
do you guys plan on fixing this? It's not a very big deal, but it lets the product unfinished...IMHO.

Hello, We have opened up the model to source the error, its cause and resolution are being considered , we will be able to post a solution when its available , for the moment I can only say its not a quick fix though further consultation hopefully proves me wrong .

Is there any word or update on fixing this issue? Just wondering.
I have the same issue with the Turbo Otter in FSX-SE, Win10.
