Cruise setting
I'm really loving the Porter so far, but I'm not sure what the optimal cruise settings are (best economy/best power).
The manual briefly mentions 1800 RPM and FSEconomy says that the typical fuel flow is 40 gph.
But does anyone have any figures for what setting I should set?

Re: Cruise setting
I set power for 115 TAS. Usually ends up around 46 gph, don't know if thats the corect way, but it works for me!

Are we talking MSFS or P3D?

Re: Cruise setting
I have the MSFS version, though i would expect them to have similar performance? (I'm quite new to flight simming, so i'm sorry if I'm completely wrong)

Re: Cruise setting
Different simulators operate slightly differently.

Re: Cruise setting
Thanks for this link! But that means that the fuel flow is to high? So either I have to remain at my current settings (to get a reasonable fuel flow) or I’ll have to account for the extra fuel flow

Re: Cruise setting
Fuel flow is getting adjusted slightly in the upcoming version to more closely match the feedback we received from some RW operators.
