NAV/GPS mode not working with F1 GTN750

When I fly in hdg/nav-arm mode and almost arrived at the red line, the KP140 gives a flashing nav and the plane turns to a course plm 120 degrees off.
Do I do something wrong?
Suggestions most welcome!
