Horizontal Trim And Autopilot
Hi,
the horizontal trim indication is at the utmost nose down position but I have to hold a constant forward pressure on the stick at least at IAS above 90kts.
This is probably the cause for an AP issue.
It does not follow the selected VS for example it climbs with ~800ft/min whereas selected VS is 200'/min.
Upon reching the selected and armed ALT the AP changes to ALT HOLD but the Porter still continues to climb with 800'/min and the altitude warning comes on.
BTW its a wonderful addon.
Regards

Re: Horizontal Trim And Autopilot
Hi,
I found the solution for this. It was wrong loading. I had never touched the MVAMS Load Option before but there the Seat A and Cargo D was empty, Cargo E was selected.
I changed it, selected Seat A and deselected Cargo E. Now everything is fine.
Thank you

Yeah, weight and balance are rather critical in this bird!
