Hi,
please tell me should TFDi RealLight be on the list of add-ons?
I don’t have it and the night lighting in the cockpit is not very good.
Maybe I did something wrong?
Although the folder "RealLight" in the folder of the aircraft is located.

Regards,
Aleksey.

I am seeing a great deal of banding and artefacts , adjust the levels on the dimmer a bit higher and try the instrument lights .

If the lights light up the reallight install worked .

Ok, sorry.

I purchased DHC 2 Beaver, 310R Redux, PC-6 Porter, Bell 407 and Bell UH-1 and in all of them the GTNs and the APs are light grey at night resp the colors does not match the rest of the cockpit.

FWIW I use the Lorby Flashlight (search the Google) for night lighting on most of my airplanes. Night lighting is incredibly difficult to get right, and that free app basically simulates wearing a headlamp in the cockpit (amongst other functions available) which makes using the airplanes night lighting not necessary.

BTW i also use Lorbys flashlight (Lorbys gadgets are incredible and the best freeware) to find the battery- and cockpit-light-switchs at night.

But that does not mean that the aircraft nightlighting has to be ugly and not state of the art!

Hi Aleksey,
you have to do the following patch http://milviz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=178&t=10530
then the cockpit nightlighting looks much better...

Regards Raller

You're very welcome.

But that's what i meant. Look at these beautiful cockpit and this nice night lighting. And then these ugly light grey instruments. Terrible. Also the blurry writing on the signs at night. This is due to shifted night textures. One of the many careless mistakes.

This (and a few other things) prevents the plane from getting 5 stars. What a shame.

But that is whining at a high level. Otherwise, a great aircraft simulation Milviz has developed here. I think a good flight dynamic is as important as a good looking plane to get the best immersive experience...

Totally agree with you.
Thanks again.
