PC-6 does not work correctly
Hello,
I have a problem with the work of the aircraft:
1. After installation, the aircraft is not loaded in “Ready to start” mode (as established in MVAMS), but loaded with a non-operating engine, and at the start of the engine according to the procedure (Aux Fuel Pump Switch On, Starter Switch on, Ignition Switch, etc.) systems do not respond.
2. After removing the MVAMS program, the plane is loaded with the engine running, but some instruments do not work (vertical speed, PCI Torque, %RPM, Fuel flow, OIL, ITT). The Throttle lever is in position 0 and does not move in the 3D cockpit.
What is wrong here?
Regards
Aleksey.
P.S. I would be grateful to the moderator, if allowed to upload images.

Re: PC-6 does not work correctly
Sounds like you are not turning the inverter on. Try that and report back. The inverter is on the rightmost side of the cockpit, has 3 positions. Up, middle and down. Middle is off. You can use either one of inverter 1 or 2 and all systems should work.
I would recommend you do not remove the MVAMS program as that is the way you configure settings and get updates for your product.
Lastly, for the throttle, Are you using the P3D Default settings? If so, can you tell us if you are using "Direct Input" or "Raw" in your P3D controller settings?

Thank you for your quick reply.
Completely reinstalled the aircraft.
The MVAMS program is also installed.
The MVAMS program is set to "cold and dark".
1.The inventor is on, but the systems do not work ((( There are no sounds of characteristic operating systems.
Turn on “AUX F PUMP”, “STARTER”, “IGNITION” and nothing works.
The only thing that works is the battery)))
2.According to the controller settings. Sorry, but I still do not understand the settings of the simulator and I ask you to tell me where the “Direct Input” and “Raw” modes are set.
I searched at C: \ Users \ YOUR ID \ AppData \ Roaming \ Lockheed Martin \ Prepar3D v4 \ Controls .., but did not find the specified modes.
Regards,
Aleksey.

Launch P3Dv4, go into Options then click "Other". You have input method choice: Raw Input or Direct Input.amlazarev wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 12:11 amHi,Raptor wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 5:13 pmSounds like you are not turning the inverter on. Re: PC-6 does not work correctly
Please make sure you have the XMLtools for the sim version you are running enabled during install .
XMLTools.dll will be in the main fs or p3d folder and there should be an entry in DLL.xml found in \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX
or \AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 depending on platform
It should read as follows:
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>XMLTools</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>XMLTools.dll</Path>
<DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
<DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
</Launch.Addon>
If not, run the XMLtools installer inside the DH2C aircraft folder for the sim in question (xmltools_201 installer.exe is for FSX).
Go to your user's AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v{version number} or AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\ folder and check whether DLL.XML is present or not.
If it is not, and you have other users defined in your machine, go to each one's AppData\Roaming folder and check that DLL.XML is present in either Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v, or Microsoft\FSX\ (depending on platform).

Manual page 22 shows you how to start the plane. Here's a video also

Thank you, I found "Direct input" or "Rav input"))) Changed modes, but aircraft systems do not work.Raptor wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 3:52 amPlease make sure you have the XMLtools for the sim version you are running enabled during install .

As for the files:
1. XMLTools.dll in the main folder P3Dv4 not found, but there is a file XMLTools64.dll
2. DLL.xml in the folder “\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4” – not found
I don’t have a platform for the FSX and the DH2C aircraft and I don’t know where to download the “xmltools_201 installer.exe is for FSX”(((
Any suggestions?

Aleksey.

Re: PC-6 does not work correctly
You should find the installer here:
Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\MV_PC-6_Base\panel/XMLTools64Installer.exe
Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\MV_PC-6_Base\panel/XMLTools64Installer.exe

Re: PC-6 does not work correctly
Good morning
I have exactly the same problems, but I don't find the installer here Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\MV_PC-6_Base\panel/XMLTools64Installer.exe
Since the XMLTools64Installer.exe seems to have fixed the issue, is there a way to get it please?
Thanks!
Guillaume

Re: PC-6 does not work correctly
Thank you, however this zip doesn't contain XMLTools64Installer.exe, only XMLTools64.dll.
I already have XMLTools64.dll in my main Prepar3D folder, however my DLL.xml does NOT have an entry for XMLTools so I'm inclined to add it manually however there is confusing info in this thread as two versions of the dll are being mentioned:
XMLTools.dll and XMLTools64.dll
Which is it? And what is the correct entry for XMLTools64.dll? I'm assuming an installer would take of this for me. The entry mentioned above seems to be for XMLTools.dll. Is it just a name swap?
Thanks
