Reverser

Post by Blaunarwal » Tue Jun 18, 2019 6:25 pm

I have programmed my X52 throttle and stick that I can use the slider axis for reverser, but the PC-6 only reacts on F2 keyboard. What is the intention how to use the stick for this function with this specific plane?

Hi,

Are you using FSUIPC or other utility for making the slider function as reverse?

No, I just programmed an available axis, the slider, on the "throttle reverser axis" but it seems, the PC-6 is not using that. Other aircraft, use this axis for reverser. It is nice to have it right on the throttle, in order to keep the hands on the throttle. For the PC-6 I´d need a button to repeatedly send F2 to the sim. Use my buttons for other things now.

Well, not quite continuously. Each press of the F2 key increases the reverse power up to a max. That works out to about six keypresses.

That´s why I ask here how it is intended to be used. I´d prefer the axis, but if Milviz assigns F2 only, what can I do?

Hi,

"throttle reverser axis" detection has been included and will be supported in the incoming SP.

Thanks!

However you may use one axis for power and reverse, just as it is in the plane. You can do that via the XML file or FSUIPC registered version and is the more realistic option.
