Navstax and GPS
Hi Milviz Team,
first of all many many many thanks for this wonderful Porter. I had to wait years for my dream come true for a decent rendition of this iconic plane. And from my first short tests flights it looks like you did a marvelous job again. Only sad point is the Turbine Otter looks like going to be dusting in the hangar from now on
Question: I know I can do it on my own and I'm flying the Turbine Otter since its release with Navstax and a GNS430 active. And I switched it on in the Porter again directly. But I did never ever encounter any problems with Navstax and a GPS in parallel. Not the once mentioned wrong running rain or anything buggy. Is there anything known to be careful with or why do you still not activate the option in the MVAMS? Would be nice to know. The only downside of the current situation is I wasn't able up to now to get a GTN running cause of missing panel cfg stuff, GNS working like a charm.
Any feedback would be appreciated
Cheers and Thx
Thorsten

You're saying you select Navstax and then add the GNS430 as a popup? I think it would work together...might as well try it

Re: Navstax and GPS
You even can go into the Navstax Console files and just activate the hidden GPS and you will see it in VC... Small alignment issues but usable.

Re: Navstax and GPS
Great Idea , I added that to the console xml for Nav Stax , a copy is attached below that goes in the base version's console folder .

Re: Navstax and GPS
Option with NavStax and the GTN650, working perfectly. Save the old files, then copy the XML files to MV_PC-6_Base\panel\Console folder, and the CFG files to MV_PC-6_Base\panel\PanelConfigs.

Many thx Matthias... you made my day. I love the Navstax and together with the GTN (in my case exchanged with RXP) it's marvelous.
