PC6 THROTTLE STUCK IN REVERSE THRUST POSITION

Hi Osin & Bill,

I did not show ANY redistributable files listed in Control Panel so I downloaded same per your instructions and got a message stating:


"0x80070666 - Another version of this product is already installed. The installation of this version cannot continue."

It goes on to state that in order to proceed with this installation I need to configure or remove the existing version - wherever it may be.


In the meantime I had deleted the PC6 download and re-downloaded making sure I disabled Malwarebytes and reinstalled the program using Administrator priveledges; this time XMLTools64Installer IS listed in C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\MV_PC-6_Base\panel

Q: Why are the C++ files not listed in the Control Panel per your example; I certainly couldn't run P3Dv4 w/o them

Hi there,

i was having the exact same problem.
It has been driving me nuts for the last 2 days, no throttle, prop only via mouse, no fuel, no start.
Downloaded the the XML zip, unzipped in panel folder, ran EXE and presto, working PC6.

Tomas says that since some levers are working, it is unlikely to be related to XMLTools and more likely to be something to do with your hardware configuration.
Are you using any 3rd party apps like FSUIPC?

Yes, I have FSUIPC5 installed and have no issues with other aircraft.
