C-310 GPS 50/430 display
Hi,
The more I fly this C-310, I like it, learning more about the plane itself and the features it offers.
I still would like to know if there is a way that I can display just one GPS (530) when I hit SHIFT + 2 on the windows screen in P3d V3.4 without the other one (GPS 430)?
In the VC, I see that they are both displayed side by side. I was told to //out the gauge entry in the panel (see below) But it doesn't seem to work.
[Window01]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=1280,650
window_size_ratio=1.000
position=2
visible=0
ident=GPS_PANEL
window_size= 0.710, 0.552
window_pos= 0.290, 0.480
//gauge00=C310_XMLGauges!FBS_GNS430_2d, 640,0,640,268 >>>> I've done this and still get two GPS's - 430/530.
gauge01=C310_XMLGauges!KR 87 ADF, 640,268,640,134
gauge02=C310_XMLGauges!FBS_GNS530_1d, 0,0,640,468
gauge03=C310_XMLGauges!FBS_KAP140, 640,402,640,163
gauge04=C310_XMLGauges!FBS_GTX330, 0,468,640,170

I think maybe you don't understand what I am trying to ask or what my issue is,
This is what I see with Shift+2, the business I mentioned about the VC is that on the airplane's console/dash, the same two images are there too; I don't have issue with that, ONLY with
shift+2 and seeing both the gns 530 and 430 - a rather large image to have displayed over the windshield (IMHO) - sure, I could reduce the image size but then, what's the point in SHIFT + 2?
I could just squint on the dash of the VC to see reduced size of same images - what we have here with SHIFT + 2 is a blowup of the two GNS items - interested in the one gns
that is what I was trying to enable. Someone named Chuck Jodry suggested:

Yes, there are lots of panel folders but they list the GPS X 2. Not a one with just a single GPS.
This is what I am striving for. I had to "Borrow" another GPS from a freeware cessna C-310 and add it to the main panel (Windows 2) and // out what was there.
Surely there is a way to obtain same results with gauges that come with MV-C-310. For now, I can just use what I have "rigged".

Here you go. This panel.cfg will display only the GNS530 in the lower right corner. I've adjusted this in my sim in real time so I know that it works as designed. Put this in your C310's ..\panel folder:

C-310 GPS 530/430 display
Thanks for the panel file. When I hit shift + 2, the one GPS 530 now pops up - thanks; now on the VC panel, both GPS are missing/blank
I did put your panel cfg in the main panel folder (I backed up the original first.

Re: C-310 GPS 50/430 display
I did not send a complete panel.cfg in my post! I only sent a replacement for the [Window01] section...
...which is why you have so much missing stuff!
Load your original panel.cfg file and then copy/paste this one [Window01] section to replace the one that's there now.

I'm happy to hear that it's working for you now. I should have renamed the file linked since its name "panel.cfg" is probably why you didn't know to just copy/paste the single [Window01] entry to your original panel.cfg file...
Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa! Sorry for my stupidity.
