PA 30 wx radar negating rain effects.

Hi, first post here, ive downloaded the pa 30, its a nice plane. I'm having some weird issues. imagine that its raining in flight sim and I want to fly the standard version with the radar and autopilot. everything works but the rain, it will disappear, then if I go back to mvams and deselect the radar and reload the plane the rain will be falling like it should, I tried to re-install the plane to fix it and now i cant turn the dome light on...the hand clicker appears when the cursor is over the light but clicking the light has no effect like it used to. first milviz and first ga download its nice other than these rather large issues. The WX controls the rain so you don't get the rain outside of clouds effect. Turn on the weather radar and check if you are inside a precipitation cell. If you are in a black zone, you won't get rain.

well I guess I didn't understand that. yes if that's how nthe radar works than that is what it does thanks for clearing that up! Still cant use the dome light though, and this issue came around after a re-install of the twinkie, any suggestions?

Does the dome light work when you open the pax door? Knowing this will help isolate the problem to some "logic" that's not working as designed.

That is good to know. There are actually three places one can click to turn on/off the cabin lights. The two 'lights' in the back and the whisky compass housing. They are simple toggle commands that flip the control variable from 0 to 1 and back to 0 again.

well...any news that damn light is useful at night...I like night flying so this is bothering me a lot. considering the 40 dollars I spent and all that jazz. thanks guys

Well I donk know what to do Not buying another milviz product is a definite!! in my line of work (new plumbing) taking over a month to fix a simple problem would have cost me my job how can you release new products when the ones you have don't <deleted profanity> work???!!! I'm raging mad especially because the first download never came through so I tried again it worked the second time but ya know what I got charged twice!!! and only the second download of the plane came through so its an 80 dollar piper that don't work and you guys are a bunch of fucking crooks!!!

For what it's worth in my case, clicking on the whiskey compass installs the wingtip tanks. Clicking the overhead light switch is ineffective.
